Beautiful Save the Date idea

I was browsing through the wonderful Style Me Pretty where I came across the most stunning vintage handkerchiefs used as save the dates. One of their readers Rachel made them herself. With such dedication she bought various vintage handkerchiefs from ebay, she then hand screened their silhouetted profiles on them. She tied them to beautifully printed card with lovebirds and hearts on them and even lined the envelopes and created a custom label before posting. It never ceases to amaze me how many talented, creative brides out there. The end result was simply stunning and even more beautiful is the fact Rachel designed and made them all herself. Brilliant. As usual thankyou Style Me Pretty for featuring the creativity of brides.

Bernadette, thanks so much for posting my handkerchiefs! They were a lot of work, but definitely worth the finished product. I have a few more pictures on my blog, http://www.benignobjects.blogspot.com. I also have some other recent work I’ve done there, too. I love, love, love working with brides to create beautiful, unique invitations for their wedding day. I hope to really make it a full-time gig once I get married in October!
