August 13th, 2010Madeline Isaac-James 2011 collection
August 13th, 2010Madeline Isaac-James will be unveiling the full 2011 collection to visitors at BBEH in September 2010 from their new Starlet and Candlelit Collections. But you can view some of these designs here or on their website. I just had a peak and think her collections are beautiful.
Inspired by the ever elegant style and grace of the 1950’s, the Candlelit Collection is a truly romantic bridal collection with clean, classic lines. The Starlet Collection is, as the name suggests, inspired by the gorgeous starlets of the golden era of Hollywood. This collection hints at a vintage feel, and promises wonderful, glamorous gowns finished in silk with gorgeous Swarovski crystal accents.
“My latest collections will appeal to modern brides who are looking for a ‘wow-factor’ gown which still maintains an elegant and classic look,” said Gladman. “The designs have been inspired by two very distinctive eras in terms of look and feel, yet are quite eclectic so we have a stunning gown to suit every bride. Our collections offer everything from fabulous princess gowns through to sultry, glamorous gowns - all of which fit and flatter the bride beautifully.” says designer, Natalie Gladman
Retailing from just £599 - £1,799, the Madeline Isaac-James collections are affordable to brides on all budgets. Details of current stockists is available on their website.
Real Wedding: Tess & Gary
August 10th, 2010On the 10th July I organised the wonderful wedding of Tess & Gary whom I had been working with for 18 months. As always there were so many gorgeous photos sent to me by Mydas Photography so I have decided to split the highlights into 2.
I love this shot up high showing the congregation and the bespoke aisle runner from Wedding Runner.
We hired the talented singers from tenors unlimited, this was a surprise act from Tess to Gary, they were wonderful.
The flowers on the day were stunning and so refreshing to have a colour other then pink, the talented duo fromBy Appointment Only Design created amazing displays, more evidence will be apparent when I upload part 2 of the wedding .
Next week I will highlight the unique touches put into play at the reception so dont forget to log on or subscribe so you dont miss the report.Credits: Mydas Touch Photography

Bridal Dilemmas
July 21st, 2010Q: I’m getting really worried about to choose the best supplier, how do I know if they are experienced and suitable?
Ok a few simple rules that should put you on the right road. Firstly never, ever pay for a consultation with a supplier - if they want to charge walk away, you shouldn’t have to pay for the privilege of them selling to you! Secondly ask for references, can you contact some independently? Ask if they belong to any trade associations as this can help prove their professionalism. Ask to see samples of work, if photographer/videographer ask to see a complete wedding not just a show reel. Also trust your instincts, if something doesn’t feel right walk away. And finally don’t be pushed around, all very well supplier/venues giving opinions but it is YOUR wedding.

Twilight inspired engagement shoot
July 16th, 2010For the last 18 months I have been organising a wedding for Tom & Sarah, marrying on the 24th July in Oxford. The wedding will reflect their rock n roll personalities, I cant wait to show you the end result. In the meantime they decided to have an engagement shoot with Kerry Morgan in order that they relax on the day. Sarah is a huge Twilight fan so the images are styled in this way. I hope you enjoy them.
