How to do Wedding Signature Cocktails

I’m obsessed with signature cocktails for weddings. There I said it! What’s not to love? Custom cocktails are a great way of injecting your personalities into your wedding, but they are also a great option if you want to save a little money. Some beautifully designed signature cocktails on offer with a limited bar is more cost effective and a lot more fun than a fully stocked bar. Consider designing cocktails that can be made in batches or stick to a few, select spirits and you’re away.

Your signature tipple can be a favourite drink that you both share, or you can design His and Hers cocktails and let your guests be the judges!

Design your cocktails to reflect your wedding theme, colours or decor. Even give them fun names! Add in the same small flowers or sprigs of foliage that you are using in your wedding flowers or match the drinks with the main colour of your bridesmaid’s dresses or invitations. Add tags to each drink with a little message from the bride and groom!

Think about when you are serving them – do you want to offer them before the ceremony, after the ceremony, after dinner, during dinner? Consider where your guests will be and how you can easily serve them.

Don’t forget about how you’re displaying them – set up a cocktail bar or self-service station, or have waiters serve them to guests on trays. Why not serve them from something more unusual than a traditional cocktail glass too!

Why not combine your cocktails with your favours and have glasses designed with your guests names on them?
