How to style your wedding with signage

Signage can be one of the simplest and easiest ways to style up your wedding; it’s also a great way to further your theme i.e. keeping your style in all signage used on the day, menus, escort cards, table plans etc. Couples are now spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing any aspect of their big day and wedding stationery can be an added intimate detail. It can be hard to come to a final decision when choosing the right signage for your wedding to suit your style. It’s possible to combine different styles if you’re not interested in having a particular style, for example, you can put together modern and traditional styles. Signage can also be personalised, you can write your own words or quotes, or you can purchase pre-designed ones.

Tips: If you’re unsure on which style to go for, the easiest option is to go for something classic. A design which you won’t tire of and isn’t too “themey” in a simple colour scheme such as white and gold. Don’t try and match colours and styles that you aren’t sure you’ll love when you look back on the day. Simple, timeless designs are the ones which win everyone’s hearts in the end.

Another style that has been very popular is chalkboards, try using really fab chalkboard pens instead of chalk, these come in an array of colours and make the board more vibrant.

Current trends: A huge trend with greys right now. Grey and gold, grey and copper, matt grey, velvet grey etc. There has also been a huge demand for modern calligraphy and brush lettering.
