Our Rebrand
Regulars to our blog may notice we have a subtle new look to the website with a beautiful new logo. Instead of a total rebrand, we decided on a gentle rebrand. We’re very clear on who our clients are and for us, our website works.
With small changes to our website, a refreshed brand identity and gorgeous stationery (thank you Hip Hip Hooray).
The next step was some fabulous new images. I was delighted to find Becky Rui a branded photography specialist. From reviewing her portfolio I knew she would be perfect for capturing the essence of me. I wanted to celebrate 14 years in business doing a job I love. I wanted clients to get a feel of who I am just from seeing my images.
Becky and I had a lot of fun on the day, in fact, I joked she felt like she could be my (much) younger sister! We decided on 3 concepts for the day.
- Successful business women. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved since launching in 2002. I’ve built the business up to such a standard that I now employ staff , speak at conferences, mentor fellow wedding planners and am a published author.
- My approachability with clients and the ease with how we collaborate over long chats with a cup of tea.
- My love of the countryside and my partner in crime Freddy. Why did I choose to have pictures with Freddy? He sits by me in the office when I’m working, keeping me company whilst I organize my clients celebrations. And also, this is aligned with my dog-loving clients.
One change from some previous photoshoots is I decided to keep my hair in its natural crazy curly style. I thought why force it into a “neat” style when that’s just not me? So I embraced the curls on the day instead and frankly it was liberating. I’m so lucky that I can literally wash and go, no sitting in front of a mirror styling my hair.
